How to Work With Me

I work with leaders and their brands at the point where things should be moving… but aren’t. The plan is there. The numbers may be there. But the board keeps questioning it, or the market just isn’t responding the way it should. What looks like an execution problem usually isn’t. It shows up as repeated questions, slow decisions, or a lack of response despite continued effort.

At that point, doing more doesn’t fix it. Despite explaining the situation, presenting it more clearly, or trying to drive it harder, it still doesn’t settle or show traction. I step in to create a breakthrough … so things actually start moving. Once we get that strategic shift, the same situation is easier to act on, easier to back, and easier to move forward.

What is actually going wrong

You explain it, present it, and push it forward… but it still does not move. The board asks again, or the market simply does not respond. Activity goes up, but momentum does not follow. This is where things begin to feel stuck despite effort. What should be working is not gaining ground.

At this point, the issue is usually not execution. It is that what is being put across is not strong enough to carry through. People hear it, but do not act on it, or the market sees it but does not respond. That is why things stall even when work continues. The problem is not effort… it is how it is being received.

If any of this is happening

You may see it in the room. The same questions come back every meeting, even after you have answered them. Decisions get pushed out, or support feels uncertain. You find yourself explaining the same thing again in different ways. Nothing is closing cleanly.

You may see it in the market. You are doing more, but response is not improving. Prospects engage but do not decide, or you keep getting compared on price. It becomes harder to explain what makes you different. Interest is there… but movement is weak.

Where this shows up

Sometimes this shows up in leadership. What you are saying sounds right, but it does not get backed or carried forward. Different people interpret it differently, and alignment does not hold. Decisions reopen instead of closing. The direction is not holding inside the organisation.

Sometimes this shows up in the brand. The business is active, but nothing stands out or carries forward. Customers understand what you do, but not why it matters. You become easier to compare and harder to choose. The position is not holding in the market.

When situations look like this

The situations below are only a few examples. There may be countless variations of these moments, but they often point to a similar underlying issue … something important is not carrying as it should. Sometimes it shows up in leadership decisions, sometimes in market response, and sometimes in ways harder to name at first. This is often where breakthrough thinking may become necessary.

In C-Suite Articulation situations, this may begin when support is hesitant, decisions keep reopening, or conviction is not building where it should. Situations may sound like these:

  • The numbers are strong … but confidence still feels fragile.
  • No matter how I explain … the board is not convinced.
  • We are getting agreement in the room … but not commitment.
  • The facts are strong … but belief is weak.
  • Every discussion sounds aligned … the decisions still stall.
  • We have answered the objections … approval keeps slipping.

In Brand Reframe situations, this may begin when growth effort is rising, but positioning is not carrying enough force. Situations may sound like these:

  • We keep doing more marketing … nothing is moving.
  • We are being seen … but not remembered.
  • We have a differentiated offer … the market does not see it.
  • We are creating visibility … but not preference.
  • We have brand activity … but not brand strength.
  • Customers understand what we do … but not why it matters.

These are only illustrations, not a complete list. Many situations may not sound exactly like these, but may carry the same underlying pattern. If what is happening feels close to any of this, the issue may be less execution … and more how the situation is being framed, carried, or understood.

Why this matters

Left like this, things do not break immediately. But they also do not strengthen. Confidence does not build, and response does not improve. You end up repeating work instead of building on it. Momentum stays flat.

Over time, this weakens both leadership and brand. The same effort produces less impact. The organisation compensates by doing more, but that does not solve it. What is unclear keeps costing you.

I take this on as a short, focused piece of work. We begin with a 40-minute Google Meet session where I understand exactly what is happening. I then work on it over the next 5 days, independently. This allows me to see clearly what is not working and where the shift is needed. The work is direct and outcome-focused.

We then have a second 40-minute Google Meet session where I take you through what needs to change. I show you what is not working and how to fix it so it carries better. This is not a workshop or extended engagement. It is a reset so both decisions and response start moving again.

What begins as one pressing issue may sometimes reveal deeper opportunities in C-Suite Articulation, Brand Reframe, or both. The work follows what the situation makes possible.
